Goodbye Spock

One of my cats was diagnosed with Feline Leukemia yesterday. I was devastated to find that out. If Spock was my only cat then we could try to keep him around and nurse him when he gets sick but since we have another cat, Captain Fuzzy Boots (yes, you read that right), and he doesn’t have Leukemia we cannot run the risk of him getting it as well. Unfortunately I am going to have to let my cat go today, 04/10/10 at 11:00AM. It is going to be hard…He is such a fun, and loving cat…Goodbye Spock.

Got a call from the vet just now. Looks like they wont be able to do it today so instead it will happen on Monday. At least I will still have him over the weekend but he is in pain and doesn’t really get up at all right now.
